Desert Park Raceway

Reno, NV

About

The Desert Park Raceway go kart track is aptly named for its sandy surrounds located at the Reno-Stead airport. The .68 mile track has 9 turns with many possible layouts. Check out the Northern Nevada Kart Club for details on how to get started racing karts at Desert Park.

Home Club: Northern Nevada Kart Club

The Northern Nevada Kart Club (NNKC) is family-oriented with a long history maintaining the Desert Park Raceway track at Stead Airport. Being exposed to the Nevada sun takes its toll on the track, and as a result the NNKC which operates as a Nevada nonprofit cooperative corporation is seeking donations for needed improvements to the track surface. Find their donation page here: https://www.nnkcreno.com/nnkc-fundraiser. The club aligns with the International Kart Federation rulebook in setting its own rules and standards for club racing.
